nba playoffs 2009: day 20

May 11, 2009 By: Ongai Category: Playoffs

For their sixth straight blowout win in the post season, the Cleveland Cavaliers just aren’t surprised. In game two of their series with the Atlanta Hawks, they won 105-85.

“I don’t want to say I’m surprised,” James said of Cleveland’s playoff dominance. “We’re just a really good team. We’re really confident and we believe in each other.”

The Cavs led by as much as 36 points to help them go 6-0 in the playoffs and tie a league record by winning six straight playoff game by double digit. The only other team to be able to do this was the 2004 Indiana Pacers.

This game was a blowout but it was a fun game to watch in a way as Lebron James was just…himself -great. He finished the game with 27 points and had reverse dunks, fast break dunks, smooth layups and of course the step back three point shot from almost half court to beat the buzzer.
