It’s still early in the summer and the Houston Rockets have already announced last week that Yao Ming’s foot isn’t healing well and it also looks like that he might miss the whole of next season. This foot had been bothering him in the past and required three pins to be inserted but it cracked when they were against the Los Angeles Lakers in last year’s playoff.

Initially the Rockets told us that Yao’s foot will be healed in 8 to 12 weeks but right now they don’t have an exact timeline when he would be able to play again. (more…)

In the first day of the 2009 NBA Playoffs we saw a lot of firsts. We saw all star point guard Brandon Roy get his first playoff basket. We also saw D-Rose having the poise and leadership to play like a veteran and lead his team to victory. A great game between the Mavericks and the Spurs was also shown where the Mavericks won for the first time on the road in the playoff since 2006.

This isn’t the first for anything for Lebron James but he showed us why he is the King in leading the Cavs to victory against the Pistons. The 2008-2009 regular season is about the be over and by now we should be rounding up on who are the top fantasy basketball players for this year. Half of the players in this list had an average draft pick in the first round while the rest were either in the second or the third rounds.
